The Kulm Hotel has been welcoming guests since 1856. Here, in the first hotel to be opened in St. Moritz, the world-famous summer and winter resort, hospitality of the highest standard awaits you. The Kulm's 5 stars and its fascinating combination of tradition and elegance, teamed with modern comfort, ensure you are pampered round the clock. The hotel is very centrally located but in a quiet and sunny setting overlooking the lake and the beautiful mountains of the Engadine. The shopping area of St. Moritz starts right at the back of the hotel. International shops and boutiques, world-renowned names. It is only a 4-minute walk to the mountain railway leading to the skiing and hiking area of St. Moritz-Corviglia. Sportbus stop (winter) in front of the Hotel. The bus brings guests to the cross country centre of St. Moritz and to the ski areas of Corvatsch (25 minutes) and Diavolezza (30 minutes). The Kulm, the cradle of winter sports, offers plenty of sport and recreation options, ranging from its panoramic indoor pool, a Health Club & Spa (with whirlpool, sauna, caldarium, salt water grotto, steambath and a large fitness room, massage, hydrojet underwater massage, Thalasso and Carita beauty treatments) to the Engadine's ski runs and cross-country ski tracks. Besides romantic walks the hotel grounds offer a curling centre and ice rink plus the Bob and Cresta Runs. In summer, guests have a choice of golf, three private tennis courts, hiking, riding and biking, all in a stunningly beautiful natural setting.

HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: The concierge would be delighted to organise a babysitter for your children.
Our concierge is at your disposal for any information you may need. He will advise you on excursions, arrange for taxis and rental cars, for transfers to the train station and airport, for railway and airline ticket reservations, for sleigh rides as well as ski lift tickets and private ski instructors.

Dogs are accepted in the Hotel at an extra charge. However, they may not be taken into the restaurants, bars, indoor swimming pool and health club or to the public rooms.

We would ask our guests not to wear sports clothing in any of the public rooms after 8 p.m. Evening dress and dinner jackets are considered proper attire, adding much to the atmosphere. We require jacket and tie in the main restaurant and the Rôtisserie des Chevaliers. For candlelight dinners and other special occasions, gentlemen are expected to wear black tie or a dark suit. For casual dining we recommend our Italian restaurant "The Pizzeria", or the Chesa al Parc.

RESTAURANTS & BARS: Le Grand Restaurant - Our elegant restaurant, the main dining room (formal dining), is open to all our guests. Here dinner is served for our "en pension" (MAP) clients and there is also a choice of delicious "à la carte" dishes.

Dinner: served from 7.30 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. - for children, starting at 6.30 p.m.
Breakfast: from 7.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. - Swiss buffet breakfast included in the room rate and served in the breakfast room.

If you wish to have continental breakfast served in your room, please fill in the order form and hang it on the door outside your room before going to sleep.

Le Rotisserie des Chevaliers - Our exclusive grillroom (formal dining) offers a wide selection of superb à la carte dishes to satisfy even the most demanding guests. This restaurant with its very special atmosphere is open until late in the evening. Table reservation is recommended. Open from 7.30 p.m. - 12.00 midnight (winter only)

The Pizzeria - This very cosy room, decorated in local style, is ideally suited for private parties or à-la-carte dining as well as Swiss and international specialities are served here. Smart casual dress is required.

Chesa al Parc - Our Engadine style restaurant "Chesa al Parc" with its large, protected sun terrace and deck chairs, is situated at the entrance to the Kulm Park.

Also situated there are our private ice-skating rink and the curling rinks (St. Moritz Curling Club) and, during the summer, the tennis courts.

Guests who have booked half pension, and who wish to take dinner at the "Chesa al Parc" may choose an à la carte meal and then receive a corresponding credit on their hotel account, or may choose a meal from a reduced menu.

Canopy Bar - In the bar next to the lobby our guests meet for cocktails, for après-ski or just for a pleasant get-together. A pianist will entertain you there.

Sunny Bar - This is the place to meet for dancing in the evening to the music of a first-class band playing from 9.30 p.m. onwards - open during the winter season only

At noontime, tobogganing fans meet for lunch and prize givings in the Sunny Bar and on the adjacent sun terrace. A la carte snacks are served here.
