Renovated in 1991, the hotel/bar has an old-world facade that blends in warmly with adjacent buildings - its lemon coloring graces the elegantly decorated dining room and Latino bar; the outdoor terrace provides an abundance of greenery that surrounds visitors. The bedrooms are accented with wicker furnishings and paintings that reinforce the Seegarten's Latin quality.

HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: With its distinctive green and white awnings, the Seegarten fits right into Seefeld, its hip locale. A three-minute walk from the opera house and a few steps from the lake, this is an extremely stylish place to stay when budgets are on the tight side. An easy-going atmosphere prevails. Peter Berkemer, the proprietor, may greet you personally in his blue jeans and work-shirt. But he is usually busy in the hotel’s Italian restaurant, the popular Latino (for which you will need to book in advance—guests do not get priority).
