Macedonia - Macedonia is medieval monasteries, timeworn Turkish bazaars, Orthodox churches and space-age shopping centres. It is also the drone of the local bagpipes, Turkish-style grilled mincemeat and Balkan cheese pies. The country is unbelievably green; its people are hospitable and welcoming.
