On the Buda site of the capital, the Hilton Hotel Budapest is located on a historical site, Castle Hill. Its immediate vicinity is rich in tourist attractions, like the Gothic Coronation Church (Matthias Church), the Neo-Romanesque Fisherman's Bastion and many other monuments and places of interest. The hotel itself is architecturally unique: the remains of a 13th century Dominican monastery have been incorporated, museum-like, into the modern structure. The hotel presents a breathtaking panorama of the Danube River, and the other side of the capital, Pest. It takes about 10 minutes by car to get to the city centre and 30 minutes or so to the airport.
