The famous shopping districts Hohestraße, Schildergasse and Europe's largest connected shopping passages at Neumarkt round off the picture. A great starting point for exploring the metropolis at the Rhine River.

It is hard to imagine a more central location than that of the Dom Hotel. Located right next to the worldfamous Cologne cathedral, only 500 m away from Cologne`s bank and insurance district and in close proximity to the Central Station (200 m).

In the last couple of months we have fully renovated 41 of our 124 rooms and suites. Beside pale & warm colours, you can expect marble bathrooms with black "Impalla Nero" and persian travertin. All rooms are equipped with TV, mini bar, telephone nad message system, brightly illuminated by daylight. All that contributes to the impression of a large european Grand Hotel of the 19th century. Additionally, the hotel`s 12 suites and junior suites offer an unforgettable view of the Cathedral.

HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: The Atelier restaurant is an attraction in its own right, with its sparkling chandeliers and the unique panorama of the Cologne cathedral, and is a meeting point of visitors and guests. Open from breakfast through to dinner it is an ideal venue for exclusive business meals or candlelight dinners. Executive Headchef Marc Cibrowius specializes in light international cuisine of the highest standard. The adjoining Atelier bar is an ideal place for relaxing in between or after a successful business day The Dom Hotel is right opposite Cologne's magnificent cathedral. There are a host of different museums to visit within a two or three-minute walk from the hotel. Five minutes away by tram, on the other side of the river, is the Wellness Centre, with a swimming pool and sauna. A ten-minute tram ride will take you to Cologne's zoo and aquarium. From the Dom Hotel you can visit most of the sites on foot. The tourist office is a two-minute walk away.

MEETINGS & BANQUETS: The Dom Hotel offers you the possibility to conduct your banquets, conferences and seminars in an extraordinary environment. The hotel features eleven banquet rooms with a capacity of maximum 120 persons. All rooms, with exception of the Teehalle, are illuminated by daylight.
