Hotel Ritz is situated in the heart of Århus – often called "the world's smallest big city". The central location allows you as a guest to fully explore all of the city's possibilities. Århus offers a variety of both large and smaller scale cultural events, amusements en masse, and the night life with its many cafés, bars and pubs is a unique experience. If you are looking for peace of mind simply head for one of the many forests, parks or beaches surrounding the city.

The hotel is located in the centre of the city's commercial and cultural area, close to the railway station, the coach station and the ferry port. All bus services stop literally right outside the door, and the pedestrian precinct, abundant with boutiques, department stores and restaurants, is right around the corner.

ACCOMMODATION
Practically all of our Standard rooms have a view to the Town Hall, the station square or the Town Hall Park area. Many of our Superior rooms are placed facing away from the street, thus securing a minimum of noise despite the hotel's central location. We do, however, have Superior rooms with a good view to the city as well.

All Standard rooms are newly renovated. All have a private shower and toilet, cable-TV, telephone and a desk. The rooms are furnished with comfortable chairs and decorated using quality garments.

Superior rooms are larger than Standard rooms. All rooms have a private bathtub, cable-TV, telephone, a large desk and a big, comfortable queen size bed. Some rooms have a private balcony and two of our superior rooms are equipped with a beautiful four poster bed.

Visit Restaurant René where you will be taken on an unparalleled gastronomic journey in French/Danish cuisine. Everything is prepared from scratch using the finest available ingredients, heeding the traditions and the professional guidance of master chef René Knudsen. The wine cellar is a wine experience out of the ordinary: 8000 bottles stored in more than 3½ kilometres of iron shelves – spanning an impressive 150 years.
