Thulhagiri is the common local name for this comparatively small resort island. The resort has a successful, long history when it comes to tourism in the Maldives. The island has over the years, been one of the favorite for many repeating visitors to the Maldives. More than seventy percent of the island's border is fine white sand beach and the inner island is covered densely with many beautiful tall shady palm trees. The atmosphere is calm and casual, the environment is attractive and the staffs are particularly friendly.

ACCOMMODATION:
The island now has 55 beach bungalows which were recently refurbished and 17 new water bungalow, finished early 2002. All are air-conditioned and have hot and cold water in the bathroom.
