ACCOMMODATION: 4 Suites Exploradores (39 m2/420 sq. ft) with a view of Mocizo del Paine. 18 Cordillera Paine Rooms (26 m2/280 sq.ft) with a Macizo del Paine view. 6 Rooms with view to the Salto Chico waterfall (26 m2/280 sq.ft) Children under 12 years of age can be accommodated in parents room. Only one extra bead per room is accepted.

The lounge, located beside the bar and restaurant is a place to relax and meet other guests at any time of day. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink, afternoon tea or evening coffee while taking in the spectacular views of the desert and mountains beyond.
In keeping with the decoration throughout the lodge, the leisure areas are un-fussy and simple, while retaining warmth and comfort.

HOTEL FACILITIES: The hotel allows guests to explore the magnificent Atacama Desert and surrounding area, whilst enjoying the Explora experience with its low-key but luxurious accommodation.

This Hotel includes all the commodities you need for relaxation and the best means for explore the Atacama lands. The Hotel provides fax, telephone, a TV room where you can watch international channels, swimming pool, sauna and massages.

Forty-five minutes drive from the hotel, the Explora has its own private hot springs, where guests can bathe. This is often included as a stop-off during trips to the El Tatio Geyser. Back at the main site, there is a massage room for those who feel the need for some pampering after a hard day exploring. The hotel also has a meeting room, a video room and a conference room.

The friendly, knowledgeable staff are on hand to suggest activities and make everyone’s stay unique and enjoyable. They organise a variety of excursions each day, which can be adapted to guests’ interests and stamina.

DINING ROOM & BAR: At explora we prefer refinement to luxury. Our luxury is based on details, such as having the appropriate food both for explorations as well as life at the lodge, with local products mainly. Wines are brought from your own vineyards at Viña Gracia, de Chile.
